Easy and free way to view chrome incognito history on a specific computer.

incognito warning text

This works for checking the domain names accessed by a specific PC using any browser including Chrome Incognito. The advantage of this method is that you don’t need to install software the disadvantage is that only domain names will be logged not specific web pages.

First go to https://store.opendns.com/get/premium-dns/ and sign up for a free account.

Next for a windows XP pc login with an administrator account. (Windows Vista see here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-TCP-IP-settings Windows 7 see here http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-TCP-IP-settings )

Start/ My Network Places/ View Network Connections/

Right click Local Area Connection or WiFi connection.

Click Properties.

Scroll through the list and highlight Internet Protocol (TCIP/ IP) then click on Properties.

Leave the first IP check box alone.

Configure the DNS checkbox as in the image below (click to enlarge image).Open DNS settings.

Click OK. Test browser works. Done.

Your OpenDNS account will now log domain names (but not specific web pages) accessed by the PC that you have set to use the OpenDNS servers regardless of whether or not Chrome Incognito is used.
