Polybore is a huge fan of the long running BBC TV series Dr Who. Genuine excitement being experienced at he moment at the imminent reappearance of an old friend, the uber villain Davros, along with his evil creation, the Daleks.
I'm sorry, but I cannot bring myself to watch this Saturday's episode. Look what it's done to these kids:http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/episodes/?episode=s4_12&action=fearfactor(metallic cackle)
poly bore likes to talk in third person lol.........hey I am missing my fork do you have it? feel the need to jab it into one blue eyeballl
Did it live up to your expectations Polybore?Once again I found the pudgy fingers of RTD pushing my emotional buttons. New Who punches through my scar layers of cynicism. (e.g. "Woah! He's regenerating!!")Davros looked pretty good, but he wasn't the full Davros. To me, a huge part of the appeal of classic Davros was that he was a puny, shrivelled, furious little man! This Davros was, sadly, normal-sized and seems to have mellowed after fathering his new batch of Daleks.
Yes Davros did seem pretty chilled out. I am sure he will have reason to throw a hissy fit next week.Quite liked the mad Dalek. Some of the special effects were a bit more ropey than usual though.I also was surprised by the regeneration??
